Inspections

The Industrial Safety Regulation requires equipment to be inspected at fixed intervals by a qualified person. Many items are also covered by DGUV regulations, technical rules and standards. Which intervals apply to you follows from the risk assessment.

Wherever possible we combine inspections into one visit, label inspected equipment with stickers and keep an inspection register you can show at any time. Electrical inspections and inspections by experts are carried out by suitably qualified staff.

Frequently asked questions

What is the DGUV V3 inspection?

DGUV Regulation 3 requires electrical installations and equipment to be checked regularly – from kettles to machines. The check is carried out by a qualified electrician, the result is recorded and the device is labelled.

Who sets the inspection intervals?

The employer – based on the risk assessment. Guide values from regulations and manufacturers are a reference. We help you set sensible intervals.

What if an inspection is missing?

After an accident a missing inspection can cause problems with the accident insurer and your insurance; the authority can also impose fines. A well-kept register protects you.

Can you do several inspections in one visit?

Yes. We combine inspections where it makes sense – for example ladders, racks and electrical equipment in one day. That saves you time and money.

Do you carry out all inspections yourselves?

A qualified person carries out many inspections directly. Electrical inspections are done by qualified electricians, expert inspections – e.g. cranes or extinguishers – by suitably qualified staff. You keep one contact.
